Maker Bootcamp
Are you ready to be inspired, discover your natural abilities and learn from creative industry experts? The Maker bootcamp has been designed just for you! The two-day immersive creative studies program starts with an exploration of screen-printing, shibori and block printing, then delves into fabric 101, pattern making and sewing skills.
SATURDAY, 2 NOVEMBER – DAY 1
8:15am: registration
8:30am – 11:15am: screen printing (including morning tea)
11:15am – 11:30pm: break
11:30 – 1:00pm: shibori dye
1:00pm – 2:00pm: lunch
2:00pm – 5:00pm: block printing
SUNDAY, 3 NOVEMBER – DAY 2
8:30 – 9:30am: understanding textiles
9:30am – 12:30: pattern-making (including morning tea)
12:30pm – 1:30pm – lunch
1:30pm – 5:00pm – sewing/product development
