Join the Creative Challenge

In the Creative Challenge, AWESOME Arts brings together two artists, Natalie Zuchetti from Perth and Lauren Greatorex, a local Hedland artist to undertake a two-week residency, developing an exciting program for the youth in Port Hedland.

The workshops designed by Natalie and Lauren will culminate in the creation of an artwork which celebrates their unique identity and the community they live. These works will be included in the upcoming Youth Exhibition, Open Borders – The 26th Parallel and Beyond, opening Saturday, 26th November 2022.
