JEWELLERY MAKING WORKSHOP

PART OF THE DIRTY EARTH PROJECT

Dirty Earth Project is an opportunity for the youth in Hedland to learn more about recycling, responsible use of resources and sustainable living through creative exploration. The goal of the Dirty Earth Project is to raise awareness and support on recycling and sustainability amongst the youth while building strong coalitions between community stakeholders in education, sustainability and the arts. This series of workshops will help solidify the knowledge and skills in transforming commonly discarded objects into works of art.  In November 2023, the Courthouse Gallery+Studio will be holding the Dirty Earth Youth Art Prize to encourage creative youths in Hedland to further pursue sustainable art making.

*More information about the Dirty Earth Youth Art Prize to be announced.
