Move and meditate for mental health this October during Portside’s Happy Hedlanders series! These FREE community events include pilates, yoga, sound healing and meditation – each offering unique benefits for mental health, contributing to overall wellbeing.
About the Instructor: Claire
Claire is the founding Physiotherapist at the Physiological Training clinic and lead Pilates Instructor at Pilates On Point.
What’s the Benefits of Pilates?
  • Physical Well-being: Pilates strengthens core muscles and improves posture, which can reduce physical discomfort and contribute to better mental health through improved physical well-being.
  • Mind-Body Connection: Similar to yoga, Pilates emphasizes mindful movement and body awareness, which can enhance emotional balance and stress management.
