“This work is inspired by casual discoveries made through the course of daily living, discarded pieces of consumerism which are given new purpose. A rusty bottle top picked up and kept, to be included alongside precious metal creates a short narrative which references consumerism and renewal. Nothing promises renewal and regeneration quite like a garden in springtime which is reflected by the plant life bursting through the waste of our consumption.”
