In a world of digital media and selfies, cameras on hand, speed and efficiency, to be able to publish a selfie for all to view on a screen in a moment. It’s all so temporary.

Here is my selfie. Hand drawn. Back to basics. Slow and cumbersome. Soaking up both time and effort. A conscious effort to break away from screens. Where a screen fixates and controls the thoughts of your mind, drawing allows the mind to wander free.

The frame creates the time and space for viewers to see and interact with this selfie one at a time. A more permanent method.
