Kangaroo/Marlu/Marloo

The Kangaroo has been a constant in this country’s identity. From the Songlines of the Dreamtime to today’s traveller yearning for home, we love our kangaroo.

I chose to draw a joey to represent something vulnerable and unsure yet has a strong connection with us all. In time, the joey has the ability to become strong and resilient.
