Dulcie has painted Karlyapilyirra a site close to Pipaar, south of Balgo in the Great Sandy Desert. Central to the artwork is the necessity of life in the desert – the waterhole. The white swirls indicate the saltpans. Here, Duclie tells of her country, its heritage and its life giving gis.
