Leah has painted her grandmother’s story. This is Lirrwarti, country for Ningie Nanala, south of Balgo near Pippar. This is where Leah’s grandmother spent her young years. Leah has painted a kiliki (creek) surrounded by an abundance of mangarri (bush foods) in the area including kantilli and pintalypa (tomato), and kanpurrpa (raisins).
