Geraldine Nowee

Minyurrpa

Geraldine has painted her mother’s country, Minyurrpa, between Jupiter Well and the Canning Stock Route. The various curved lines are the sand dunes in the country, the dots illustrate the abundance of seeds found in the area, and the circles represent the grinding stones, used to grind down the seeds to make bush damper.
