The Granite Boulders (dotted with Lichen) on the edge of the Darling Scarp at Hovea with their simple and powerful shapes, appear to have been ‘cut in half ‘ with large areas of flat rock contrasting against huge monolithic dome like shapes. They have an arresting and brooding presence, they have been sentinel to many stories and memories unknown to me.
