Audio Description

Off The Beaten Track was inspired by my deep concern for all wildlife and the devastating impact of human-wildlife conflict. In this painting the stunning colourful Gouldian Finch – Chloebia; Reichenbach has found purchase on this rusty skeleton giving them a visual advantage in terrain that can be very flat, dry and unforgiving. The fragility of the environment is constantly under threat due to human impact and yet in the harshest conditions wildlife sometimes manages to find a way to survive. As humans we have a responsibility to protect our environment not only for our fellow man but for all living creatures.
