Untitled (Floodwaters)

Water can be calm, and sometimes it can be rough and raging. It leaves debris along its path and brings flash flooding, leaving places destroyed. But after it’s all over, the whole countryside is green and comes alive. I can see flood water in my dreams. It feels like I am floating in the paintings that I paint, just like I gone swimming in the pool. But this pool is running in one direction. As for cyclones, I’ve always been fascinated by cyclones. The destruction it brings and the wind. Cyclones are a force of nature. They make the towns and communities come to a standstill.”
