No Where to Land
No Where to Land
Nowhere to land tells the story of interdimensional pathways that are documented in vulnerable environments caused by human activity. My home is in SW Western Australia where a diminishing native forest has shaped my artistic practice, highlighting the widening gap between humanity and nature. It is a season of endings, and within this particular humanistic framework, death transforms into a detested failure and an ultimate affront. However, nature is not an outsider or an enemy. It is both our garden and family. The multiple layers of story in this painting invites viewing it from 360 degrees. Turn the work around and look deeply.
