The light catching a flicker of a scale, glinting amongst the laps of water as the elements shift throughout time. The waters of the Kimberly are ever-changing from the time of year to the time of day, to the weather, or the colours and light that reflect. From small creeks to the oceans, water offers a multi-dimensional world, revealing and/or hiding from those viewing or immersed in it and for some, even allowing a glimpse of the other worldly. My painting was created to capture this magic. To show the change in colour, to reveal or hide the secrets of the sea.
