The Junction Co.
Who we are
The Junction Co.’s main office is located in Port Hedland, on beautiful Kariyarra Country, and we acknowledge the Kariyarra, Ngarla and Nyamal people as the Traditional Custodians of the Town of Port Hedland Lands. We recognise their strength and resilience and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
Founded in 2018, The Junction Co. commenced as a creative enterprise collaboration specialising in place activation and learning experiences. Since its inception, the Junction has evolved into a well-established not-for-profit organisation with a clear vision to engage, grow and empower regional creatives.
You are invited to explore our curated exhibitions, participate in art+craft workshops and online capacity building programming, become part or the volunteer team, shop our Store+Stockroom for beautiful gifts and artwork, explore our Ceramics Studio, learn more about our place activation initiatives, understand our regional advocacy activities through the Hub Network (read more below), meet Junction Co.’s dynamic team and connect further via our socials.
WE ARE A HUB IN THE
REGIONAL ARTS NETWORK
The Junction Co. are a Hub in the Regional Arts Network.
As a Hub, we are a local representative for arts and culture in the Pilbara region. We can provide support to artists, arts workers and those wishing to engage with the arts in our community.
Contact us for more information on the types of support we offer. We’d love to hear from you!
What is the Regional Arts Network?
Looking to change the way the regional arts sector talk to each other, Regional Arts WA has partnered with strategically aligned local organisations to grow a Network of Hubs across the state.
The Hubs themselves engage and respond directly to their local communities by providing on-ground support for their needs. Their role is to increase local decision making, strengthening relationships with local governments and stakeholders, whilst seeking development opportunities for artists and arts workers within their communities.
By having Hubs then connect back to a state-wide Regional Arts Network, assists in building a sustainable and thriving ecosystem of connected creative regional communities who work together in collaboration.
