weighted/wait_[2020] captures a collective meditation on the year that has been, 2020, of a global pandemic, dramatic change, and society adapting to a restricted everyday life. Just as communities, both close to home and worldwide, were forced to be still, so will the thousand of handmade ceramic works, sit silent on the gallery floor.
Over two months, our diverse community created ceramic domes in workshops at the ceramics studio, local schools, and community organisations and businesses across the Pilbara.
All are invited to opening night, to experience this unique installation, as it represents the strength and resilience of our community, and how we mould together to create collective impact.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
