Christmas in July, see you in Portside – heart of the West End! 

We are so excited to bring to you the 2023 Portside Christmas in July Festival!! It’s as cold as it’s going to get here in Hedland, so let’s get outside and enjoy the amazing weather.

This year, we are combining forces to bring music, food and shopping all in the Portside prescient. Browse the range from artists, makers and stall holders, sample from the variety of food trucks and soak up the music! There will be activities for the kids (and kids at heart) including an art and craft workshop to make Christmas decorations to put on the Wedge Street Christmas tree.

Wedge Street Footpath Twilight Markets

The Port Hedland Visitor Centre will be hosting their Wedge Street Footpath Markets, with a variety of stalls stretching along Wedge Street. Jewellery, plants, eco-friendly products and more, you’re sure to find something special!

Courthouse Gallery+Studio

If you haven’t already, don’t forget to VOTE for your favourite artwork for this year’s Jury Prize. The winning artist will receive a $10,000.00 prize and of course bragging rights!

While you are there, pop in and browse the store + stockroom for local and Australian stocked artworks and wears. Stocking new and exciting products all the time, the team can help you find the perfect gift!

Food + Drink

Tantalise your taste buds from the selection of Food Vans and grab a bite to eat from Wedge Street Cafe, Harbour Cafe or The Train.

Live Music + Entertainment

Get ready to bob and dance down Wedge Street to some live tunes as you soak up the winter sun!
