Keep the creativity flowing! Our follow-up sessions are the perfect chance for young artists (ages 7+) to continue developing their Freaky Little Friends. If you’ve already started your creature, these workshops give you time to refine, decorate, and bring even more personality to your creation.
These sessions are all about exploring ideas, experimenting with materials, and having fun. Whether your character is quirky, spooky, or completely out-of-this-world, there’s space to let your imagination run wild.

Third and Final Workshop – Putting the Finishing Touches
The third and final workshop will be giving participants the chance to put the finishing touches on their Freaky Little Friends. This session is all about refining, decorating, and adding personality to your creature. Think colours, patterns, textures, and any final details that bring your character fully to life.

About the 2026 Karratha Youth Exhibition
The 2026 Karratha Youth Exhibition is a celebration of imagination, creativity, and character, inviting young artists to let their ideas run wild. This vibrant showcase brings together a colourful collection of handcrafted papier-mâché creatures, each full of personality, originality, and its own story.
From weird and wonderful monsters to cute and curious companions, these creations reflect the endless inventiveness of young minds. Every piece explores what happens when fantasy meets fun, turning imagination into tangible, playful forms.
Adding an extra spark of magic, all entries will be transformed into a special animation, bringing each freaky little friend to life on screen. Together, they form a dynamic world of movement, colour, and storytelling, a joyful reminder that art is about experimenting, expressing, and embracing the unexpected.
This exhibition is not just a display, it is a celebration of young creativity, where every creature, every story, and every idea has a place to shine.
