Eloise Haldane

Eloise developed her deep love of art during childhood. Often she observes her Dad painting in his spare time and has spent many happy hours in galleries, gardens and natural landscapes. Although her love for art has always been there, it took many years for her to make it a priority. Since moving to the Pilbara several years ago, she has been captivated by its big skies, the changing seas, its richly-coloured landforms and its delicate flora. Her work currently takes the form of printmaking  and painting. Her printmaking practice consist of one-off or small – editioned hand pulled linocut prints, mono prints and drypoint etchings. As for her painting practice currently focuses on small acrylic landscapes. She has entered the Dampier Art Awards and was awarded the prize for ‘Works on Paper’ for my block print “Calm Waters’ in 2023. In May 2024 she submitted five block prints for displayed as part of the Her Story Exhibit at the Red Earth Arts Precinct. She practice art in the in between moments of motherhood.
