TITLE: Acceptance / another’s treasure
DESCRIPTION: Since relapse from recovery often thrives on low self- esteem and a harsh inner critic, Step 6 invites us to accept that every human is a mix of both virtues and flaws. I’ve illustrated this balance through the local Hedland dump, using the analogy that one person’s trash is another’s treasure. By depicting a vast brood of birds finding sustenance and value among the refuse, I am showing that even our discarded or “broken” parts can hold the seeds of our survival and growth.
