Faith / find me at Tāpapakanga

DESCRIPTION: Step 2 of the 12 step program is finding our hope or faith. The language tends to speak of god as that is what most closely translates but in most instances in my life it means finding faith in a higher power that is or exists in the universe. In this depiction I share a moment with my friend Melissa Teague at Tāpapakanga regional park in New Zealand, this land is a spiritual and special place that Mel introduced to me to which was a fundamental part of finding my faith after my brothers murder as was her friendship at that time. Mel passed away passed away on Sunday 28th January 2024 after a tragic car accident, I returned to Tāpapakanga without her that year to find my faith again.
