NIINA AOKI - ILLUSTRATION
Niina Aoki is a Perth based illustrator and maker. She visited Port Hedland on 20 – 22 September to judge the Hedland Youth Art Prize and run four digital illustration workshops.
Three children’s illustration workshops took place at the Open Day of the Hedland Youth Art on Saturday 21 September, and one adult workshop took place on Sunday 22 September.
The objective of the children’s workshops was to create a Pilbara Pets colouring in book whilst exposing participants to new illustration and digital reproduction techniques. A total of 55 pet illustrations were completed on the day and as a result will be included in the Pilbara Pets colouring in book.
