PORTSIDE MAKERS MARKETS STALLHOLDER APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN!

The Junction Co. is hosting the Portside Makers Market, as a part of this year’s Portside Community Mother’s Day Markets. We want to celebrate the talented artists and makers that call the northwest home, in time to get an extra special gift for Mother’s Day!

Stallholder participation in the Portside Makers Market is by application to the Courthouse Gallery+Studio only.

The Junction Co. will be managing the stallholder selection and development, to ensure the market is of the highest standard for our customers and community. As part of the selection process, we will consider the needs of the customers and the importance of matching the creators (products) to the shoppers.  Find out more below.

CURATING THE PORTSIDE MAKERS MARKETS

Things to consider with your application

(1) Most importantly, products must be locally handmade or designed, homegrown or homemade.

(2) Products must be high quality and thoughtfully presented.

(3) Products must be designed/made/grown by the person applying to attend the market, or with exception, a family member or friend.

(4) Diversity, diversity, diversity of products.

(5) Products in the same category need to have a point of difference.

(6) As much as possible places will be offered to local and regional businesses, though applications from outside of our region will be considered if a business makes a product that we think is amazing.

(7) The market will offer a unique handmade shopping experience that cannot be found elsewhere.  It is crucial that you show us your products are unique.

Other things we take into account

(1) Your space needs to be visually appealing.  We love to see a creative and beautiful use of the 3m x 3m space.

(2) A business’ social media presence (which is very important by the way!).

(3) Other places the products are available for sale.

All applicants MUST submit photos of their products, and where possible, examples of any previous market stall. Email a selection of your photos to hello@thejunctionco.com.au

Details to Note

(1) Tables are to be provided by stallholders.
(2) Limited marquees available.

Last but not least

Don’t forget your application cannot be considered until images have been emailed to hello@thejunctionco.com.au

There is a $30 stallholder application fee for successful participants. If you have any questions, please email hello@thejunctionco.com.au
