Deluge and Rising Monolith
“Unusually more frequent and severe weather events has influenced this work after travelling to the Murchi8son during a particularly wet season. Climbing many monolithic rocks and being surrounded by vast expanses of flat country soaked with high water levels after heavy rain made me think more about climate change and the effects in our country of severe flooding. The monolithic rock outcrops in our landscape stand as powerful pillars of stability in an uncertain changing world.”
